| The Delavan- Darien FFA took part in their annual community service project. This year, the students worked at Wildwood and West Park in Darien. The students painted picnic tables, picked up litter, picked up downed wood, and cleared walking paths. According to one student, “Cleaning up the park was fun to do and it felt good to help the community” says Melissa Murphy. In the past years, the FFA has done a leaf raking in the Darien Cemetery and every year we carve pumpkins donated by the Apple Barn Orchard and Winery. We take them and display them at nearby assisted living homes. FFA members have fun getting involved in FFA activities and having a fun time with their FFA chapter. |
